Renova S.A. posee una planta de molienda de soja y un puerto en Timbúes, Santa Fe, con una capacidad total de molienda de 20.000 toneladas/día, además posee una planta de biodiesel en San Lorenzo con una capacidad de procesamiento de 480.000 toneladas/año.
La CII busca otorgar un Préstamo de hasta US$75 millones con un plazo de hasta 9 años, incluyendo un período de gracia de 2 años a Renova S.A. para apoyar la construcción de (i) una tercera línea de molienda de soja con capacidad para 10.000 ton/día; (ii) un nuevo puerto de granos con capacidad de carga de 4.000 toneladas/hora; (iii) un puerto de barcazas con capacidad de 9.000 ton/día; y (iv) la refinanciación de la deuda existente (el "Proyecto").
Renova es una joint venture entre Vicentin S.A.I.C. y Oleaginosa Moreno Hermanos S.A.C.I.F.I. (OHMSA), una subsidiaria de la multinacional Glencore Agriculture. Vicentin, es una empresa familiar que fue constituida en 1929. Es una de las mayores procesadoras de soja en Argentina, posee otras tres instalaciones y una terminal portuaria en el área del Gran Rosario, y otras dos plantas de biocombustibles en el norte de Santa Fe. OHMSA opera dos plantas de molienda de granos, una refinería de aceite vegetal, dos instalaciones de almacenamiento y dos puertos, entre otros.

Environmental and social review
IDB Invest conducts an environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) commensurate with the nature, scale, and stage of the project, and with its level of environmental and social risks and impacts. The ESDD will confirm the project E&S categorization and assess the project with respect to the client requirements in IDB Invest Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy. The results of the ESDD, including any identified gaps are described in the Environmental and Social Review Summary (ESRS) provided below. For projects approved as of 2016, any gaps with respect to IDB Invest's Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy at the time of the ESDD are addressed in the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) presented below, to comply with the date mentioned above.
