Carole Sanz-Paris is the Head of Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance at IDB Invest, where she leads a team dedicated to assisting private sector clients in Latin America and the Caribbean in accessing both local and international capital markets.

Carole is a specialist in fixed income, structured finance deal execution, sale side research and credit analysis. She worked as a structurer at JPMorgan Chase, fixed income research analyst at Deutsche Bank and rating analyst at Moody’s. She has been responsible for the structuring, executing and placing of many complex financing structures. Carole has published extensively on relative value of fixed income products at Deutsche Bank, where her team was acclaimed as the No. 1 Securitization Research House by Euromoney and Institutional Investors.

Carole holds an Executive MBA at Oxford SAID (United Kingdom). She holds Mechanical Engineering degrees from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France) and Cranfield University (UK).

A publicist by profession with a specialization in Marketing Management and a candidate for a master's degree in Sustainable Development Projects from EAN University. He has more than 10 years of experience in cultural transformation processes in different sectors such as telecommunications, finance and retail. He currently serves as Director of Sustainability at BBVA in Colombia and is responsible for the bank's cross-cutting sustainability strategy in the country.

With a solid background in Treasury and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, I bring a wealth of expertise to enhance the treasury department for companies, fostering strong partnerships internally and externally.

Over the years, I held responsibility for various departments and teams within Treasury; orchestrating funding exceeding $3.5 billion through diverse capital market instruments, coordinating the implementation of robust MIS systems, managing cash and hedging, whilst being responsible for cultivating relationships with financial institutions, fixed income investors and rating agencies.

Kurt Vogt has over 30 years of banking experience. Most of his career was at Citi, where he held managerial positions in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Monterrey, and New York from where he led Citi’s Corporate Banking business in Latin America. He later joined HSBC Latin America where he led the Sustainable Finance business and positioned the bank as a lead placement agent for green, social, and sustainable bonds in the region. In 2017, Kurt founded HPL LLC, a sustainable finance advisory firm focused on institutional clients. Kurt recently joined the Board of Directors of the LAGREEN Lux SICAV Fund, a green bond fund focused on Latin America. He is also a member of the advisory board of Birdlife International, an organization in 120 countries striving to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity. Kurt received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana (1984), an MBA from Harvard Business School (1987) and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University (2017).

Leonardo Mazzei leads stakeholders’ engagement and non-financial risk management in high-risk high-reward projects at IDB Invest. He coordinates institutional and operational-facing engagement activities and partnerships to accelerate the private sector's adoption of sustainability solutions and best practices.

Leonardo is a sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience leading regional and global impact investing initiatives involving multilateral development agencies, government, private sector, and non-profit organizations to advance sustainable development. He has extensive experience dealing with political and business leaders during economic reform, public-private partnerships, and project finance in over 40 countries.

Before this role, Leonardo was Head of Communications at IDB Invest supporting private sector investments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Before the IDB, he worked as Senior Communications Officer for the World Bank, leading stakeholder engagement interventions in Africa, Central, and East Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America, focusing on infrastructure, energy, governance, and private-public partnerships. He has authored four books on the role of communication to enhance sustainability performance.
