To tackle the increasingly complex challenges facing the LAC region since the onset of the pandemic, the private sector-oriented entities within the IDB Group—IDB Lab and IDB Invest—are renewing their business models in their ability to mobilize on a larger scale.
In the case of IDB Lab, by becoming an innovation hub for inclusion capable of aggregating different actors, resources, connections, and knowledge to close early-stage innovation gaps in sectors with high development impact; and in the case of IDB Invest, by evolving into an impact-drive originate-to-share MDB with the capacity to further scale the impact of its operation.
The seminar will have two panel discussions with experts and clients, focusing on how both organizations are addressing the urgent needs of the region by mobilizing private capital and de-risking.
