Project scope and objective
The Ruta PY10 Lot 1 Project involves the construction of a 36.8‑km section of National Route PY10 in Paraguay, executed under a public works contract awarded by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications to Consorcio Ruta 10. The project represents an investment of approximately USD 65 million, with an estimated construction period of 24 months. The contractual structure is based on the issuance of U.S. dollar‑indexed interest‑bearing certificates (CROPs) by the Government of Paraguay upon completion and provisional acceptance of defined construction milestones. IDB Invest proposes to participate through a securities purchase facility linked to these certificates, combining an A Facility and a B Bond structure.
