Project scope and objective

Dori manufactures all kinds of candies, chocolates and peanuts in different flavors, to meet domestic and international demand. The company's headquarters are in the city of Marilia, in the northeastern part of the state of São Paulo, and this is where the peanuts, chocolate, and gum candies are manufactured. There is a subsidiary plant in the city of Rolândia, state of Paraná, where the company produces a complete line of candies. In addition, the company has a peanut processing plant where peanuts are received as raw material, processed, and subsequently delivered to the production plant.

The project contemplates a number of investments in infrastructure, equipment, and machinery, as well as the restructuring of short-term financial liabilities and financing of working capital. Investments in fixed assets involve the following subprojects: (1) construction of a distribution center for finished product storage in Marilia; (2) setup of new equipment and improvements in the Marilia and Rolândia plants; (3) construction of a storage facility for raw materials in Rolândia; (4) construction of an effluent treatment plant in Rolândia.

The IIC's role in the proposed operation is relevant because it will make it possible for Dori to expand its production and storage capacity, thus improving the company's programming and production efficiency and reducing lead times. Long-term financing will lead to the creation of 69 new direct jobs, as well as 250 indirect jobs.
