I am a young, yet seasoned executive, with over 25 years of experience in building up and operating companies as well as increasing productivity and solving complex situations. I have a strong business mind and dedication to excellence.
I have an MBA with an emphasis in Industry and Technology from INCAE Business School (my areas of expertise were Industry and Technology, excelling in Marketing and Strategic Planning). I also have a degree in Biochemistry/Food Engineering from ITESM (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Superior Studies).
During the last 5 years, my focus has been innovating in the coffee value chain, with value propositions such as precision agriculture, controlled fermentation, traceability systems and post-harvest/food technology for specialty coffee production, creating unique flavors and aromas. Our coffee production operations are a world class business case.
Previously, my career focus was on strategic investment and financial planning, M&A and due diligence processes, international manufacturing and site operations. I headed projects such as the development of an industrial park (the largest in LATAM), as well as a technology and business park (the first business and technology park in Honduras).
I have also developed expertise and insight in the analysis of new markets and new business ventures for several industries. I am an expert using Project, Omniplan, Minitab/SPSS/@RISK/Statistica/Oracle Crystal Ball and other statistical and data mining software. I perform deep research and business tactical methods to identify potential markets.
I have 20 yrs of experience in the industrial manufacturing, energy, food, textile and chemical industries; during this time I accumulated a broad experience in financial and project feasibility analysis, international marketing and strategic planning.
