This knowledge product consists of a practical guide on self-regulatory guidelines aimed at strengthening the corporate governance of the Municipal Savings and Credit Institutions (CMAC) of Peru. The Guide provides a structured set of recommendations to professionalize the processes for the appointment, induction, and training of Boards of Directors, as well as the institutional mechanisms that ensure the continuity and effectiveness of these efforts over time.
