Private sector companies can play a key role in the economic and social development of their workers, value chains, and the communities where they operate. This DEBrief summarizes the results of a joint effort between IDB Invest and Danper—a leading company in the global agri-food sector—to measure and manage multidimensional poverty among farmers in its supply chain. It builds on a previous collaboration with IDB Invest to measure multidimensional poverty among Danper’s workers and their households.
