In November 2019, IDB Invest acknowledged the growing financial and systemic risks associated with climate change. Since then, the institution has advanced toward a more robust, integrated approach to climate risk management and transparency—embedding climate considerations across investment processes, portfolio oversight, and long-term strategy. This risk report demonstrates the progress made during FY2025 across four main components: governance, strategy, risk management and metrics and targets.
