IDB Invest welcomes Slovenia as a new member

IDB Invest, a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, is pleased to welcome Slovenia as a new member country. The official declaration of membership was signed at IDB Invest headquarters in Washington, D.C. This concludes a long-awaited process to receive the country as a 46th member of IDB Invest.

Slovenia is already a member of the Inter-American Development Bank and its incorporation into IDB Invest reinforces its commitment to development through the private sector in Latin America and the Caribbean and represents an important step for close collaboration in the region.

The ceremony was led by the Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), Luis Alberto Moreno, and the CEO of IDB Invest, James P. Scriven. Stanislav Vidovič, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the United States, participated on behalf of Slovenia.
