IDB Invest welcomes Croatia as a new member

  • This is the 47th member to be formally incorporated by IDB Invest

IDB Invest, a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, welcomes Croatia as a new member country. The official declaration of membership was signed at IDB Invest headquarters in Washington, D.C. With the incorporation of Croatia, IDB Invest now has 47 member countries.

Croatia was already part of the IDB Group. Its official incorporation into IDB Invest reinforces the objective of meeting the growing needs of the private sector in Latin America and the Caribbean and is a strong impetus for maximizing the development of the region.

The ceremony was led by the Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), Luis Alberto Moreno, and the CEO of IDB Invest, James P. Scriven.
Zdravko Marić, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Croatia and Governor of the IDB, participated on behalf of Croatia.
