WASHINGTON – IDB Invest will provide up to $100 million to Banco Comafi S.A. to expand access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Argentina. The operation will help strengthen SMEs by enhancing their capacity to invest, grow, and create jobs.
Greater access to financing will enable companies to secure the resources they need to invest in machinery, technology, and human capital, improve productivity, and respond more quickly to new market opportunities.

In addition to the financing, IDB Invest and Banco Comafi will continue working together to promote best practices in sustainability and business management.
