As Senior Manager, Auditor and Accreditation Body Engagement, Susana manages a team responsible for engaging with various organizations involved in auditing and accreditation, including Validation and Verification Bodies, with a focus on capacity building and training. She can provide support to existing VVBs or potential VVBs.

Prior to working at Verra, Susana worked for a few different institutions including South Pole, Fundación Natura, and WWF, where she managed different topics such as REDD+, development of projects, construction of public policy, and relations with different stakeholders.

Susana is a forest engineer from the National University of Colombia. She also specialized in Environmental Management and has a master’s degree in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University in Munich, Germany.
