Mike Maura Jr has been involved in the international logistics and the maritime transportation industry for over 25 years. His career beginning in the export business in the U.S. and continuing in the 1990’s as operator of a large retail grocery business in the Bahamas, and from 1998 to 2010 as President of Container Terminals Ltd, agent for Tropical Shipping’s Bahamas services. In 2010 Mike became President & CEO of APD Limited owner and operator of the Nassau Container Port. In 2018 while serving as President & CEO, he became Chairman of the port operating company.

In July 2019 Mike joined Global Ports Holding as the Regional Director of America’s and CEO of the Nassau Cruise Port. Global’s expansion into the Bahamas and Caribbean brings great opportunity for these island nations and growth potential for the Cruise industry. It’s an exciting time to be a part of this expanding sector.

Mike continues to serve as Chairman of APD Limited, Director of Cable Bahamas and Immediate Past Chairman of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce.
