Lucía leads the strategy and innovation development of projects in Latin America and the Caribbean that promote environmental and social sustainability in the financial and productive sectors such as agriculture, aquaculture and forestry. Lucía provides technical advice to financial institutions and companies contributing to the adoption of sustainable business and productive practices, resource-use efficiency, and climate change mitigation and adaptation measures. Lucía has also developed methodologies to estimate and monitor carbon footprints and carbon stocks in forests and in the dairy, coffee, and cacao supply chains to access carbon markets.
