Ana Margarita Trujillo

Ana Margarita Trujillo is Head of Mining at IDB Invest, where she leads the institution's efforts to strengthen mineral value chains across Latin America and the Caribbean. She develops and implements the sector strategy, with a focus on mobilizing private investment in mining, mineral processing, and enabling infrastructure across the region. 

Ana has more than 15 years of experience in project finance, investment management, and private sector development in emerging markets. Prior to joining IDB Invest, she worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she originated and executed debt and equity transactions across the mining, infrastructure, energy, water, and transport sectors. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes.
