Project scope and objective
O Projeto consiste no desenho, construção, operação e manutenção do Bloco 2 da Concessão dos sistemas de distribuição de água, coleta e tratamento de esgoto nos municípios do Rio de Janeiro, Paty do Alferes e Miguel Pereira no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil. Nos dois últimos, a Iguá Rio de Janeiro será responsável, ainda, pela coleta e tratamento de água destes municípios. O objetivo, além da distribuição universal de água, é atingir 90% de coleta e tratamento de esgoto para aproximadamente 1,2 milhão de pessoas. O plano financeiro consiste em um empréstimo do BID Invest de até R$1.000 milhões, com prazo de até 20 anos.
