Project scope and objective
La presente operación consiste en un préstamo corporativo combinado de largo y mediano plazo por hasta US$23 millones, destinado al Grupo Desarrollador de Parques Industriales S.A (“GDPI” o la “Empresa”). GDPI es una empresa que forma parte del Grupo Guerrero, para desarrollar el Parque Industrial Green Park, ubicado en la zona de Coyol, en las afueras de la ciudad de Alajuela.
El financiamiento propuesto contempla la construcción de varias naves industriales dentro de dicho parque, que permitirá mayor disponibilidad de techo industrial en el país. Esto facilitará y complementará la atracción de la Inversión Extranjera Directa, enfocada principalmente en los conglomerados de ciencias de la vida, tecnología y servicios compartidos, y alineado a la tendencia mundial de “Nearshoring”, en la cual Costa Rica es un actor relevante en el contexto regional.
