El financiamiento propuesto consiste en un préstamo a Procaps S.A. (“Procaps” o “la Compañía”) por un monto total de hasta US$20 millones por un plazo de hasta tres años. Los objetivos del proyecto son apoyar el plan de expansión de Procaps, empresa dedicada al desarrollo, producción y comercialización de productos farmacéuticos y tecnología avanzada para el suministro de fármacos. El préstamo servirá para financiar adecuadamente los largos ciclos de caja de la Compañía, lo que permitirá reducir la presión sobre el corto plazo, y aportar recursos adicionales para seguir invirtiendo en investigación y desarrollo e inversiones de capital, tanto regulatorias como de expansión.
