Project scope and objective
Usina Santa Adélia S.A. es una empresa brasileña dedicada a la producción de azúcar y etanol (común y anhidro), que cuenta con una capacidad instalada de generación de energía eléctrica de 129 MW a partir de la combustión del bagazo de caña de azúcar.
El financiamiento propuesto de la CII consiste en un préstamo a Santa Adélia para financiar: (i) la renovación de las plantaciones de caña de azúcar, (ii) el mantenimiento de los gastos de capital (CAPEX), y (iii) el capital de trabajo, de acuerdo con la ley aplicable. El costo total del proyecto es de US$60 millones.
