Project scope and objective
La inversión propuesta consiste en una potencial transacción con Cabletica S.A. compuesta por: (i) un préstamo senior por hasta US$50 millones (“Préstamo A”); y (ii) un préstamo senior por hasta US$450 millones (“Préstamo B”), cuyos recursos se utilizarían para financiar proyectos que incluyan un componente sostenible y/o social relacionados con inversión en infraestructura móvil, refinanciar ciertas obligaciones financieras, capital de trabajo y fines corporativos generales.
El objetivo de la transacción es apoyar el despliegue de infraestructura de telecomunicaciones, logrando un mayor acceso digital y calidad de banda ancha en Costa Rica, permitiendo a Cabletica ampliar su base de suscriptores en el mediano plazo. Adicionalmente, se utilizará parte de los recursos de la transacción para refinanciar la deuda existente de manera que esta se alinee a los planes estratégicos de integración a largo plazo de Cabletica.
