Liz advises clients and banking teams on positioning clients for ESG excellence and for attracting impact-oriented investors. At BofA, Liz led the establishment of Development Finance as part of the GSF strategy. BofA’s Development Finance Framework focuses attention on financial activities with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and in emerging markets in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She leads relationships with DFIs for co-investment opportunities.

Prior to joining BofA, Liz was Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean with IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, overseeing a $17 billion portfolio across sectors, as well as a $5 billion annual investment plan including mobilization. Liz supported the roll out of the Operating Principles for Impact Management to over one hundred Signatories of Impact Investors and Asset Managers. Liz was also with Morgan Stanley in Mergers & Acquisitions and Swaps, as well as with the Goldman Sachs Debt Capital Markets team in New York, London and Hong Kong. She also served as a Senior Advisor to UN Women on Innovative Finance.

Liz is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Futures Council, co-chairs the MDB and Public Development System Taskforce of the UN Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD) alliance, and sits on the IIF Sustainable Finance Policy Expert Group. Liz is on the Board, and served as interim CEO, of the nonprofit NetHope that helps international nonprofits digitize and use technology in their operations.

Liz has a Bachelor of Science from Yale University in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from Insead.
